It is with great sadness we note the death of one of our founder choir members, Shirley Wishart. Shirley sang in the soprano section and throughout her five year battle with cancer she continued to come along and sing with us at rehearsals and concerts. Her bravery and determination to carry on with a normal life inspired us all. We have many, many happy memories and stories of her time with us in the choir, not least the amusement she seemed to find in confusing us by alternating the caps and wigs she had during various stages of her treatment! We will always remember her major contribution to the choir – her beautiful solo performances, her part in the soprano section and her administrative duties as treasurer. Thanks, Shirley for the privilege of singing with you and for your friendship. We miss you.

Welcome to the Home Page of the Kingdom Singers website. This site has been designed to keep our members, associate members and interested friends up to date with the choir.
We are a mixed four part choir of 20 singers who perform a wide repertoire to many groups throughout central Scotland. We have been established for fifteen years, having performed many concerts throughout Central Scotland. We have two wonderful accompanists, Margaret Kennedy, and Heather Kelsall. We perform under the fantastic direction of Margaret Orr. We currently have vacancies in the Soprano and Bass sections - if you are interested, email us at the above address and Margaret Orr will arrange an audition.
On this site you will find information of some of our venues, our repertoire, notes from some of our performances, see our photographs and you can even listen to some of our music.
In 2008 we travelled to Wilhelmshaven to perform with Coro Piccolo - a new and wonderful experience for us all. We had a return visit to Dunfermline by Coro Piccolo in June 2009. Check out the details on our "German Visitors" Page
